<p><b>Adreno</b> ist eine Familie von Multimedia-Prozessoren von <a href="Qualcomm" title="Qualcomm">Qualcomm</a>, die ursprünglich von <a href="ATI_Technologies" title="ATI Technologies">ATI Technologies</a> (ATI) als <i>Imageon</i> entwickelt wurde und 2008 von <a href="AMD" title="AMD">AMD</a> an Qualcomm verkauft worden ist. Der Name ist ein <a href="Anagramm" title="Anagramm">Anagramm</a> von <a href="AMD_Radeon" title="AMD Radeon">Radeon</a>. Die Adreno-Prozessoren bieten Grafikbeschleunigung und andere Multimediafähigkeiten für mobile Geräte wie <a href="Mobiltelefon" title="Mobiltelefon">Mobiltelefone</a> und <a href="Organizer" title="Organizer">Organizer</a>.
</p><p>Adreno wird soweit ausschließlich in Qualcomms <a href="Snapdragon_(Prozessor)" title="Snapdragon (Prozessor)">Snapdragon</a> <a href="System-on-a-Chip" title="System-on-a-Chip">System-on-a-Chip</a> verbaut.
</p><p>Ein <a href="Freie_Software" title="Freie Software">freier</a> <a href="Grafikkarte" title="Grafikkarte">Grafik</a>-<a href="Ger%C3%A4tetreiber" title="Gerätetreiber">Treiber</a> namens <i>freedreno</i> für <a href="Linux" title="Linux">Linux</a> wird unter Einsatz von <a href="Reverse_Engineering" title="Reverse Engineering">Reverse Engineering</a><sup id="cite_ref-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-1"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>1<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup> geschrieben.
